My RB are about 4-5" now.I have been feeding once a day. They really do not seem interested very much at feeding time.Unless it is nightcrawlers than it is almost a frenzy.I leave the food in there over night and usually all the food is gone by morning.Do I continue to feed them once a day or every other day? When I first got them dec 8 they were only 1".

Re: Feeding-How often
I feed mine pellets everyday. It took awhile for them to switch to pellets, but it worth it. Aww, they go crazy now when I put them in also.

I usually put a whole bunch of live feeders in and let the Piranha's decided when and how much they want to eat.

You might have to starve him for a couple weeks. Then thaw out some frozen fish. cut them up into pieces he can eat. Throw one piece in the tank. If he doesn't eat it, just walk away check later. But don't leave the uneaten food to rott in the tank. keep trying to feed him around the same time.
My guys won't eat frozen food for me either. They prefer feeders. But I have a 35 gallon quarentine tank. The filters i have on that tank is kind of overkill but worth it to me. I have two Marineland Emperor 400 running, power jet and a heater. I'm feeding them silver dollars or anything that would be natural to their environment.
