    hey APU,

    Popped into the LFS yes turday too see if i could find another Frontosa when i saw this pair of Africans ...i loved the way they acted so i brought them home and stuck em in the quarantine tank..they are already building a home and taking Hikari Gold Cichlid pellets with most Aggression

    M. Esterae look like them to me. I have one in my African tank. Pretty active fish always swimming.

    Yep...they are doin good...they fought a bit at first but now they are a nice pair...there in a 55 gal with just a couple plants and Gold Nugget Plecos...the fish have grown nice...i've been actually thinking of some tank mates..any suggestions???

    Heres a short list i found,..

    Pseudotropheus kenyi, Melanochromis johanni, Labidochromis caeruleus (yellow lab), Pseudotropheus crabro (bumble bee), Melanochromis cyaneorhabdos (Mainganos), Aulonocara species (Peacocks), Scianochromis ahli (Blue Ahli), Pseudotropheus socolofi, and the Pseudotropheus sp. �ice blue� (Red Top Ice Blue).

    I can actually get my hands on all these fish...and a short drive at furthist!
    I'm going too pick somthing out and after i introduce i will post picks of what i ended up with

    Those are some nice Cichlids! are they hybrid cichlids? My friend breeds them. he's got i think at least 100 cichlids in a 320 gal. custom build tank
