absolutly not. piranha will bite the rays disk, so will many aggressive and semi aggressive fish. rays are practically all nerves, the slightest thing that stresses them even aggression stress tank parameter fluxuations etc can shock the ray causing the "death curl" and inevitably pass on. piranha are kept succesfully with other piranha, these are pygos. caribe terns piraya and red bellies. the serrasalmus specie is kept in solitaire due to its aggression to other fish. SOME plecos and armored cats can be kept but the eyes and other spots are not protected so i am highly against this. hope this info helps. ill try to post some articles for ya soon.

I once had some newly imported peru reds,10, in a 6foot tank, they were 2-3", I had a plec at 14". they rolled it over in less than 2 hours.

So I wouldn't recommend anything with them. Pygos just about tollerate each other. But a sudden change in numbers can cause disaster, especially with shoals of caribe, piraya or terns.
