    I really like her--a beauty--looks like a parrot-jelly bean. Is that another name for it??? I know jellybeans r cichlids.

    I've never heard the term jellybean but it's a suitable name.

    I only know Midas for the Species but i don't know much about her species..she was a rescue from the LFS...she was in terrible shape so i had to take her home and she is the favorite Cichlid in my Collection!

    Yeah, the lps around here call them parrot jellybeans they come in all different colors like jellybeans do. There really pretty fish. Just a couple weeks ago the lps here had a green one and one like yours.
