    Does anyone else keep endangerd speicies? Old or new world?

    My current list is.
    9. Mibipia cf. Lueta ( yalla swamp)
    6. Mutumbi hunters
    6. Sp35 "tomato"
    6. Rock kribinsis
    6. Xmas fulus (yalla swamp)
    and not cichlids but.
    6. Ameca splendins
    I keep these for the cares program with another club.
    as soon as i get the pics uploaded to photo bucket i will get pics of the setups and fish.

    I would love too see pics!

    We can't have any of those species my way but good too hear people know WHAT they are keeping...maybe teach others...breed and replenish the native environment so aquarists can keep in the future without drastically reducing numbers!

    Bylaws forbid..a lot of Non Native species do well in Canadian Waterways...careless people release these Non Native species into these Canadian waterways and it changes everything around...even non native turtles here you actually notice the decrease in fish do do this addition too the enviroment...and you notice within a couple years!

    i see that explains why salt is so popular. i cant imagin affrican cichlids doing well up there but who knows

    Nah...Africans do very poor in Canada for sure unless aquariums are heated

    Now Africans let loose in Florida or the carolinas could be devastating!!! affraid
